I am an Independent Artisan of Creativity. I am in mid-life now, and
have been painting since I was the age of 5. It is thought by many
that know me; that I must have a " creative gene" because of my
diverse ability. I prefer to think that my mind has always been
curious;
and paints were simply the first "tools " that I was given to use.
My dad was a Carpenter , and back through to his Grandfather as
well. I feel sure this exposure created new ideas and tools; which
eventually contributed to my overall skill. I was given a simple
guitar at the age of 5 also, after brief few months of lessons. I talked
my parents into a summer cessation of tutoring. I began to play by
"ear" and after owning many guitars,I still play almost everyday. I
sometimes wish that I would have dedicated more time to music
exploration; though I learned to play the Trumpet and French Horn
before "time to practice" became an issue. I am a "self made" kind
of person, as I am always in endeavor to learn and practice. I recall
as a child, being encouraged to be open and explore what life has to
offer. I asked my father one time;"what was I going to be when I
grow up?"I was told that I could be "anything that GOD wanted me
to be." It took some time before that statement sunk in; but I set out
on a mission after that. I looked for any opportunity to advance my
education and or experience when offered. My high school years in
the south, shaped my general interest in the Theatre; and stagecraft
was the beginning of work
outside of my home. I LOVED every flat that we built, no matter
my efforts were voluntary. ...a rising :"painting star" was
born..........I have been a leader of my class, in many areas of interest
through the years ; though I enjoy sharing what I know, as many
have done with me....I am fulfilled and feel very Blessed .

some background info...
I and anyone that works with me, must consider that a paintbrush is an
extension of the arm. I do most of the work myself but work with
others if the task required are large enough. I am a Master Carpenter
and can use either hand to paint with. I will travel to you and get the
materials needed where you live. Then I come back home and
REPEAT. My aptitude for creativity seams tireless...I am ready if
you are.....but PLEASE be prepared to book ahead, my passion has
been discovered by others too. If your job is worth doing "right"; it
deserves consideration. Hire an ARTISAN for the job, that fits your
needs.....
..Am I expensive?
I reply; " speed to complete, quality that you
expect, and the overall cost are relative. I
work for people with both large and small
budgets. I am "reasonable" . Each job is
unique as each customer.
